Tiradentes é um espaço público do município de Curitiba, capital do estado
do Paraná, no Brasil. Com 9.026 m², é sua mais antiga praça e
considerada oficialmente o local onde a cidade nasceu.
Uma das
atrações da praça é a estátua de Tiradentes, obra executada pelo escultor João Turin, inaugurada em 21 de abril de 1927.
Tiradentes Square is a public space in the city of Curitiba, capital of the state of Paraná, in Brazil. With 9,026 m², it is its oldest square and officially considered the place where the city was born.
One of the attractions of the square is the statue of Tiradentes, a work executed by the sculptor João Turin, inaugurated on April 21, 1927.

Situada no coração do Centro Histórico tem ilustre vizinhança: a Sociedade Garibaldi que congrega a “bouna gente italiana”, uma das sedes da Fundação Cultural de Curitiba , o sóbrio solar do austríaco Wolff, Memorial de Curitiba, Casa Romário Martins de tradição lusitana, todos armazéns da memória curitibana. O SOLAR DO ROSÁRIO , cartão postal da cidade, é uma casa assobradada de arquitetura eclética porque, como em todas as casas senhoriais do fim do século XIX, havia uma mistura de estilos: colonial português, francês, alemão, acrescido de características neoclássicas como o frontão com suas volutas curvas, janelas e sacadas. Síntese de estilos que retrata o espírito da terra paranaense: acolhedora de todas as etnias, terra de todas as gentes.

Situated in the heart of the Historical Center it has distinguished neighbors: the Garibaldi that congregates the "bouna gente italiana", one of the headquarters of the Cultural Foundation of Curitiba , the sober manor of the Austrian Wolff, Memorial of Curitiba, Casa Romário Martins of Lusitanian tradition, all warehouses of Curitiba's memory. The SOLAR DO ROSÁRIO, a postcard of the city, is a semi-detached house of eclectic architecture because, as in all manor houses of the late nineteenth century, there was a mixture of styles: Portuguese colonial, French, German, plus neoclassical features such as the pediment with its curved volutes, windows and balconies. A synthesis of styles that portrays the spirit of the land of Paraná: welcoming to all ethnicities, land of all peoples.
